Student Travel to ACM SIGMETRICS / IFIP Performance 2024

There are two main avenues for obtaining travel funding to ACM Sigmetrics / IFIP Performance 2024.

  1. ACM-W provides support for women undergraduate and graduate students in computer science and related programs to attend computer science research conferences. The deadline to apply for funding is Apr 15, 2024. More information can be found here: https://women.acm.org/scholarships/
  2. ACM Sigmetrics' Student Travel Grant Program is described below. The deadline to apply is April 29, 2024.

Student Travel Grant Program

ACM Sigmetrics / IFIP Performance 2024 is pleased to offer student travel grants to subsidize registration costs for attending the conference. The number and amount of the awards will depend on the number of applications received and the available funds. The grant money will be awarded in the form of a reimbursement up to a fixed amount, which will be determined based on the student's application. Students will need to show proof of registration to SIGMETRICS.

Eligibility

Only students may apply to the Registration Grant Program, where "students" here refers to undergraduate or graduate levels, but not postdocs. We have two different travel grant applications for students. Please apply to the one you are eligible for.

How to apply

For students at US Universities or for students who are US citizens: Please fill the application form here. These grants are generously sponsored by U.S. National Science Foundation.
For Non-US students (not a US citizen and studying at a non-US university): Please fill the application form here. These grants are generously sponsored by ACM and our industry sponsors.

The deadline for submitting the application form is Monday, April 29, 2024. We expect to communicate decisions to applicants by Thursday May 9, 2024. The instructions for reimbursement will be conveyed to the awardees once selected. If you have any questions about the application process, please email the Student Travel Awards Chair, Qiaomin Xie.
