Call for Tutorials

ACM Sigmetrics / IFIP Performance 2016 invites the submission of tutorial proposals within the scope of the conference. Introductory tutorials (e.g., on key analytical tools, measurement methodologies, etc.) as well as tutorials on emerging topics that are of broad interest to students, academics, and practitioners are particularly encouraged.

The conference will take place in Antibes/Juan Les Pins, France, and tutorials will be held on Saturday 18, June 2016. Tutorials may be short (1.5 hours) or long (3 hours), excluding breaks.

The tutorial proposal should concisely describe the objectives and contents of the tutorial. The proposals, which must not be longer than 4 pages, should include: * Title and abstract * Objectives, importance, timeliness, and intended audience * Detailed outline of the tutorial * Prior history of the tutorial (if applicable) including past presentation dates, venues, topics and number of participants * Short biography of the instructor(s) and past experience with tutorials, summer/winter schools, etc.
